Thematic Insight Pieces
Transforming Education and Empowerment in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Working with long-term client Cambridge Education, we were commissioned to design a series of five Thematic Insight Pieces (TIPs) for UNICEF Middle East and North Africa. The publications examine how educational systems across the region must evolve beyond traditional academic learning to embed essential life skills that build social, economic and environmental resilience.
To bring the technical content to life, we combined impactful, real-life photography with a vibrant colour palette, delivering an engaging design while establishing a distinct look for each individual document. Strategic quote treatments and case studies were integrated as visual assets throughout, establishing a dynamic layout pace and grounding complex policy insights in human stories.
To maximise international reach and accessibility for educators, policymakers and community leaders, all five publications were translated into French and Arabic. The resulting suite provides actionable strategies and success stories from countries like Egypt, Djibouti, and Iraq where tailored life skills programs have led to tangible improvements in youth engagement, gender parity and community empowerment.
