Girls’ Education Challenge final event

Having worked with long-term client FCDO Girls’ Education Challenge (GEC) since its inception, we were delighted to create the material for the programme’s final event, marking the end of a 12-year initiative.

We created a bold and energetic visual identity for the event, combining strong gradient colours from the GEC palette with cut-out photography of some of the girls supported by the programme. This visual approach was carried consistently across all event materials, including roller banners, social media, case studies, posters,  presentations and a film creating a cohesive and impactful identity for the final celebration.

“Working with Caroline on the Girls’ Education Challenge was a genuine privilege. She was so much more than a graphic designer. From the outset she took the time to understand what the programme was trying to achieve, and she brought real humility and empathy to every piece of work – and there were hundreds!

This understanding mattered enormously. GEC reached 1.6 million girls and young women, and telling their stories well meant striking a difficult balance: showing the scale and depth of change in their lives without ever being patronising and voyeuristic. Caroline got that balance right every time. Her designs gave the girls dignity and let their achievements speak for themselves.

Her attention to detail was exceptional, driven by a deep commitment to doing the very best for us and the people at the heart of the programme. The result was beautiful, thoughtful work that showcased GEC’s impact in a way that was both compelling and respectful. I would recommend her without hesitation.”
