GEDSI-lens toolkit
As part of our ongoing partnership with the Green Cities, Infrastructure and Energy Programme (GCIEP), we designed this interactive GEDSI-lens toolkit tailored specifically for infrastructure project developers.
The resource provides actionable, practical guidance on embedding gender equality, disability, and social inclusion (GEDSI) principles seamlessly throughout every stage of a project’s life cycle. The toolkit identifies critical intervention points, detailing precisely how and when to incorporate inclusive frameworks into complex infrastructure development. To ground the theory in reality, it features case studies clearly highlighting best practices for supporting global GEDSI goals.
To bring the technical content to life, we expanded upon a vibrant illustration style previously established for GCIEP. A prominent, interactive navigation system combined with a highly structured visual hierarchy ensured the toolkit was both engaging and intuitive to navigate, resulting in an exceptionally positive reception from users.
Following the launch of the interactive document, we designed an accompanying summary, which was translated into French, Portuguese, and Spanish to maximise international reach and accessibility.
